Title: Gravity as a Probe of New Physics

Abstract: There have been a number of challenging outstanding problems that have plagued the standard model of cosmology. These problems rangeĀ from the accelerated expansion of the universe, the nature of dark matter and the big bang singularity. The character of these problems are indications for new physics. In this talk, I will go over some attempts to resolve these problems and potential ways to test these solutions.
