The Clinical and Translational Science Institute's (CTSI) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Center serves as a resource for researchers at the University of Pittsburgh. Our objective is to provide education so that you can learn to effectively recognize and avoid research misconduct and understand the resources that are available to support your research. The Animal Research Protections and IACUC  workshop May 19 is for researchers using vertebrate animals in research and education. The role of IACUC, governing laws and agencies, the submission and approval process, training, and how to maintain compliance will be covered.
