As part of the Aging Institute's Research Seminar Series, Gregory Carter, PhD, Professor, and The Bernard and Lusia Milch Endowed Chair at the Jackson Laboratory will present a special seminar,  "Dissecting the molecular basis of Alzheimer’s disease with cells, mice, and marmosets”

A central part of the Aging Institute (AI) Bridgeside Point's mission is to promote innovative research in aging and a rich environment for training a new generation of investigators in the aging field.  Beyond individualized mentorship, we want to provide support in career development, presentation skills, grant writing, and opportunities for collaboration and networking with researchers within and outside the University.

The research seminars will be followed by a gathering to stimulate informal discussions, socialization, and networking.  All postdocs are highly encouraged to attend this event to allow informal interaction with faculty and familiarize postdocs with the non-scientific skills required to pursue and succeed in an academic career.
