In Aftermath: An Apocalyptic Comedy, a relationship is tested when one of the partners believes it’s the end of the world.

This short film featuring Amaru Williams and Isa Antonetti, and directed by Jumoke Davis, began as a screenplay by Patrick Duggan, one of the winners of the PITTch Storytelling Initiative competition.

It was produced under the direction of Carl Kurlander, founding producer of C4C: The Pittsburgh Lens. This is the second short film developed through the PITTch program, supported by the R.K. Mellon Foundation.

Created as a community teaching project, Aftermath was made with the participation of a diverse group of over three dozen mentoring film professionals, Pitt students, and community members.

This special screening event will include a panel discussion. Refreshments will be provided.
