About this Event
Accessibility Training Partners presents this virtual talk as part of its ongoing series on accessibility and innovation.
Dr. Guo will share his lab’s latest research on designing, developing, and deploying context-aware systems to enhance accessibility in both the digital and physical worlds. Examples include:
ProgramAlly – a multimodal end-user programming tool that enables blind users to build custom AI filters for visual information (e.g., locating bus numbers or expiration dates on packaging).
WorldScribe – a system that generates live, adaptive visual descriptions informed by user intent, movement, and sensory context.
He will discuss how personal assistive technologies can move us toward a deeply personalized and broadly universal future—an accessible future that benefits everyone.
