Many accessibility efforts often neglect the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing. Captions are crucial, but ensuring full accessibility involves addressing additional requirements often overlooked. Meryl will explore these overlooked aspects in her review of accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing. Her upcoming talk will center on crafting accessible experiences for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, encompassing best practices for captioning and beyond.
