Kate McLean is a design researcher and strategist who specializes in Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking. She is an adjunct professor for the University of Arkansas’ Walton School of Business teaching User Research in Applied Environments. Most recently she was the lead researcher and designer for UX@Tyson where she established the company’s User Experience department. McLean’s passion for digital inclusion and user experience research led to creating a groundbreaking, patented software application that generates designs to enhance cycling commuter safety, inspired by the time-tested, visual communication strategies of Poison Dart Frogs.
