Managing your online researcher identity can be an effective way to increase the visibility of your research. Learn how to register for an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) to help distinguish yourself from other researchers and build your author record. We will walk through how to use ORCID with other researcher profile platforms to help control your online presence, showcase your work, and demonstrate research impact. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to attend.

After this class, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what ORCID is and describe the benefits of using ORCID.
  • Create an ORCID author record and add your works.
  • Identify the different researcher profile tools and decide which ones are right for you.

Class materials will be made available to class registrants. This class will be recorded.

Registration is required. Please register here.
