This January, Student Affairs is once again hosting the annual MLK Social Justice Symposium! This year the theme is, "Where Do We Go From Here? Building Systems of Access and Liberation." This year's community dialogues are:   

  • How to Elevate Your Support of Autistic & Neurodivergent College Students on Campus with Dr. Brett Nachman
  • Unlearning and Relearning Disability: From Ableist Myths to Inclusive Realities with Dr. Sam Pittman
  • Forging a New Future Participatory Action Design and Engineering Technologies with People with Disabilities with Dr. Rory Cooper

All attendees will gather to hear from our keynote speaker, Alex Locust.

The symposium will be held Wednesday, January 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the William Pitt Union, with continental breakfast and lunch provided.
