The Film and Media Studies Program & Pitt in Hollywood present the first ever Pitt Stars Award to Creation Station/UPTV founder John Paul Horstmann. The event will feature a video tribute made by students of Carl Kurlander’s classes chronicling John Paul’s contributions to the University film community and his journey of breaking into the industry after his time in Pittsburgh. This event will celebrate John Paul’s individual accomplishments along with his trailblazing work encouraging young filmmakers by showing them a pathway to the industry.
