All are invited to attend the annual Constitution Day event on Fri., Sept. 17 from noon-1 p.m., both in-person in the Teplitz Memorial Moot Courtroom and virtually via Zoom. This year's event, "Democracy under Duress," will feature Prof. Robert L. Tsai from the University of Boston School of Law.
Note: If you are not part of the University of Pittsburgh, given current health concerns, we welcome you attend our event via Zoom.
During his lecture, Prof. Tsai will put efforts to subvert the 2020 presidential election and ongoing voter restrictions into historical context. He will also identify the most pressing threats to American constitutional democracy, including perhaps the most serious problem: a failure of political imagination.
This program has been approved by PACLE for 1.0 hour of substantive credit. There will be a $30 fee for processing CLE credit for this event. Attendance is free to those not seeking CLE.
