2020: A Year in Review

2020 was a year for the history books. Join the TedXPitt club in an upcoming conference where distinguished speakers reflect on the past year and the pandemic's impact on their respective positions in public policy and higher education. 

Speakers: 

Dr. Ann Cudd: University of Pittsburgh’s Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor. Presenting on the influence of the pandemic on Pitt's campus and academic culture. 

Malcolm Kenyatta: Current Pennsylvania State Representative. Presenting on the perpetuation of economic disparity during COVID-19 and the evolution of political agendas within U.S. politics. 

Emily Bennett: STEM Career Consultant and instructor at the University of Pittsburgh. Founder of Bennett Career Consulting. Presenting on professional perseverance during strenuous circumstances.

Kim Le: Prominent student-leader and executive board member of Pitt Activeminds. Recipient of Nordenberg Scholarship. Presenting on mental health advocacy and destigmatization of mental illness.
