The HHS Office of Inspector General modernized its regulatory guidance for healthcare compliance in November of 2023. OIG issued a 91-page comprehensive guidance document that reflects the culmination of fifteen years of learnings and recognizes the role of compliance as a strategic function for healthcare leaders.
This hour-long webinar will:
Professor Cheryl Forino Wahl has been providing legal, regulatory and compliance advice in the health care industry for more than 25 years, including serving as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for two health systems. Professor Wahl has extensive experience designing, developing and establishing award-winning compliance and data privacy programs. She teaches Legal Aspects of Healthcare Compliance for the School of Law’s Graduate Certificate Program in Healthcare Compliance.
This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs.
This program has been approved by the PA CLE board for 1 hour of substantive credit. This presentation is free to Pitt Law alumni, faculty, staff, students, and those not seeking CLE credit. There will be a $30 fee for processing CLE credit for all others.
