School of Public Health: Dean's Office

Pitt Public Health was founded in 1948 with the mission of providing leadership in health promotion, disease prevention, and the elimination of health disparities. In addition to its ongoing teaching and research missions, the school offers numerous educational events--open not only to students, faculty, alumni, but also to the general public--that seek to inform and deepen public conversation and improve policies for healthier communities.
