The University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Governance and Markets explores the diverse institutions and governance arrangements that affect social order and human well-being in the United States and around the world. The Center is a global hub for researchers and practitioners in the areas of governance and institutional analysis. The Center’s three main research areas are governance and political institutions, economic institutions and property rights, and governing emerging technologies.
